The School of Education, Health and Science is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join the BSc (Hons) Nursing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced academic who is keen to develop and progress their career in higher education (senior lecturer) or someone looking to move into an education role (lecturer position) from clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a drive and passion to develop nursing education, as well as an eagerness to engage students with their learning.
This fixed term post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the school forwards with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond, in collaboration with strategic healthcare partners.
For the Senior Lecturer role, you will be expected to hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent.
This post requires an Enhanced DBS check and for applicants to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
There is opportunity for job-share or fractional posts within the current academic structure.
