Who we’re looking for

With over 1,500 students on our course, we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students to act as their first point of contact with the Education Team.

The role of Education and Student Experience Assistant requires good communication skills and the ability to prioritise urgent issues. So being adaptable and highly organised is a must. You will be in charge of triaging all incoming student queries, responding and escalating as appropriate within the team and the school.

The Medical Education Team is responsible for the delivery of programmes that range in scale and duration across the entirety of the 5-year course. This includes allocating student placements as well as exam delivery, coursework submission and ongoing student support; so we’re looking for someone approachable and supportive, who enjoys building up strong, professional relationships.

You will also be expected to work independently on occasion, and so a determined work ethic is a must, along with the ability to manage time effectively with a high level of capability.

Our data sets are large, and so strong IT skills are crucial, as well as attention to detail. On-the-job training will be provided for the range of IT programmes that we use, and so you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills further by working with an established, dynamic team of professionals.
