Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £44,468 per annum inclusive of London Allowance

The Department of Statistics is home to internationally respected experts in statistics and data science. We offer a vibrant research environment and a comprehensive programme of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The post holder will join our small friendly Professional Services team responsible for supporting the taught and research programmes within the Department.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Programmes Administrator to become an integral member of our Professional Services Team. This role has a strong focus on coordinating and delivering high‑quality administrative support for our taught programmes, with a clear emphasis on ensuring their smooth operation and fostering a positive and supportive environment for students and academic staff.

Candidates should have:

• Experience of working in higher education
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to liaise professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Proven organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and consistently meet agreed deadlines
• Excellent IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Experience of working successfully as part of a team and contributing to the effective team performance.
