Who we need

As our provision at the City Hub has grown not only from strength to strength, but also in size, we are looking for an additional Assistant Principal who is energised by the opportunity to join the leadership team at the City Hub in shaping a high-performing campus and make a tangible difference to students, staff and the wider community.

This is a role for a leader who can confidently hold both big-picture vision and day-to-day excellence, has a breadth of experience within further education, who thrives on complexity and sees challenge as a chance to innovate and inspire.

You will be someone who:

  • Brings credibility as a senior curriculum leader, with the confidence to set a clear direction and the presence to bring others with you
  • Has a deep belief in the potential of every student, championing high standards, inclusion and exceptional student experiences
  • Leads teams with clarity, setting high expectations, developing talent, building trust and creating a culture where people feel motivated to be their very best
  • Uses insight, evidence and professional judgement to drive improvement at pace, make brave decisions and deliver impact
  • Is outward-facing and future-focused, excited by partnerships, progression pathways and ensuring our provision remains relevant and aspirational

  • The ability to inspire and develop others, creating high performing teams through clear expectations, constructive challenge and genuine support

  • A future focused mindset, with the curiosity and creativity to shape curriculum and provision that reflects changing educational, societal and economic needs

  • A collaborative, outward looking approach, confident in building purposeful relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders in the best interests of students
