In support of a significant new initiative dedicated to providing co-produced research, knowledge exchange, education and training services to the benefit of an integrated health, well-being and social care system, CSGUL is hiring a Professor, Reader or Senior Lecturer of Social Care - Informatics and Technology (Education and Research). The focus will be on the improvement of lives and supporting services across the lifespan. This includes support of caregivers, the role that data and technology might play and how it is best implemented. 
 
To lead or support the identification of strategic opportunities and build research and KE capacity in the School of Health and Medical Sciences and wider University relating to social care, support of caregivers, the use of data and the implementation of technology in improving services. This will be through grant acquisition, methodological support, mentorship to academics as well as via teaching and training activities. To champion and facilitate purposeful collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including the currently under-served. 
 
To support innovation in social care in the UK we are currently seeking a Professor, Reader or Senior Lecturer with experience of navigating fluidly between academia and professional practice. You will have expertise in co-production, facilitating purposeful relationships, internally and externally, to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for stakeholders. 
 
You will contribute to the design, delivery, dissemination, sustainability and leadership of aspects of a wider programme of research and KE that considers: care development including informatics and application of technology, services to support children’s well-being, rehabilitation and managing long-term conditions; prevention, population health, community development, and workforce planning.
