To encourage innovation within Integrated Health and Social Care services and systems across the lifespan City St Georges University of London is hiring a Professor of Behavioural and Implementation Sciences (Education and Research) to deliver and facilitate Interdisciplinary research, education and knowledge exchange (KE). You will be a member of the Department of Inter-professional Healthcare, with a remit to foster inter-disciplinary research and KE as well as support and train colleagues across CSGUL in the design and application of innovative research methods as well as grant and income capture.
 
You will lead the scoping and identification of strategic opportunities and build research capacity in the School of Health and Medical Sciences and wider University relating to integrated health and care systems. This will be through grant acquisition, methodological support and mentorship to academics. You will also champion and facilitate purposeful collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including the currently under-served. In addition, you will provide and model excellent leadership in the development of innovative methods to address current research challenges in the sector as well as inform and deliver teaching and supervision. 
 
To support the development of innovation in integrated care in the UK and beyond, we seek a Professor with substantial experience of navigating fluidly between academia and professional practice with enthusiasm and curiosity including expertise in facilitating purposeful relationships, internally and externally, to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders. You will have experience of contributing to the training and mentoring of colleagues in new research methods as well as support of grant applications, teaching, programme design and supervision is essential. Delivery of high quality impact for social benefit, relationship building and REF is required as well as relishing the opportunity to drive innovation in research, teaching and knowledge exchange, individually and collectively.
