Are you someone who enjoys supporting others and helping them feel more confident during challenging times? We are looking for a friendly and approachable Adviser to join our Money Advice Team, which is part of the wider Wellbeing Service.
This role is about people, not numbers. You will support students who may be worried about their finances, offering clear, practical guidance and reassurance. Whether it’s explaining funding options, talking through budgeting, or helping someone access additional support, your role will be to listen, understand, and help students find a way forward.
You will meet students face-to-face on campus through appointments and drop-in sessions, as well as responding to enquiries by phone, email, and online. You will also represent the service at University events, helping students feel supported and informed from the start of their journey.

The role is based at Oxstalls and City Campuses. Occasionally, you may work from other University sites depending on service needs. While most of your work will be on campus, there may be occasional opportunities to work from home.
Working pattern:
22.2 hours per week across four days (with Tuesday as a non-working day). Start times are between 9:30 and 10 am.
Would consider requests for term-time only working.
