Buckingham Business School is seeking an inspirational scholar-practitioner to join our expanding Accounting & Finance discipline as a Lecturer in Accounting. This is a rare opportunity to shape the next generation of global accounting professionals within Britain’s first independent university, where small-group, student-centred learning is not a slogan—it is the organising principle of every programme we deliver.
The Role
You will lead the design, delivery and continuous innovation of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Financial Reporting and Auditing, while contributing to Corporate Finance and other accounting electives. Teaching is conducted in seminar-style groups (typically 8–14 students) and is supported by our dedicated academic and non-academic staff.

The closing date for applications is 5pm 5th June 2026 and interviews are likely to take place early July 2026. Short-listed candidates will be expected to make a short presentation (on any element of financial reporting / auditing at the start of the interview followed with questions by the panel. After the presentation and interview, candidates may also be invited to a more informal meeting with the academic and administrative staff in the Business School.
