Are you experienced in student funding, data quality or student records and ready to play a key role in a major national reform? We are recruiting a Student Funding Co-ordinator to support the delivery of an excellent student funding service as Leeds Beckett University prepares for the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE).
Working within the External Reporting and Data Quality team, you will coordinate and deliver high‑quality student funding administration, ensuring accurate and timely data is provided to the Student Loans Company. This includes confirming student registration and attendance, processing changes of circumstance, and supporting the annual maintenance of the SLC course database.
You will act as a specialist point of contact for student funding queries, supporting both students and colleagues, and will play an important role in designing, testing and embedding new processes to support LLE implementation. Working closely with colleagues across Registry, Digital Services and Schools, you will help ensure institutional compliance while delivering a responsive, student‑focused service.
In this role you will:
You will bring strong experience of student funding administration or student records management within a higher education environment, alongside a clear understanding of tuition fee regulations. You will be highly organised, comfortable working to deadlines, and committed to providing excellent customer service to a diverse range of students and stakeholders.
You will enjoy working collaboratively, be confident explaining complex funding information clearly, and be motivated by the opportunity to contribute to service development during a period of sector change.
You will join the Registrar and Secretary’s Office within the Registry and Academic Quality Enhancement Directorate, working in a supportive and collaborative team with a strong focus on accuracy, service quality and continuous improvement.
