About the job:
This Research Assistant position (0.8 FTE) is based in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. The post holder will be an active member of the research project assisting in the implementation and evaluation of In-Touch: Implementation of a person-centered palliative care intervention to improve comfort, quality of life and social engagement of people with advanced dementia in Care Homes.
This role will involve engagement with nursing homes across the Belfast and Greater Belfast area, including coordinating and undertaking on-site data collection, conducting qualitative interviews, and contributing to data analysis and dissemination activities.
The post holder will work with the Principal Investigator and wider research team, contributing to the successful implementation of the project. They will also engage with a range of stakeholders, including nursing home staff and partners.
