About the role:
Worcester College, Oxford is looking for a Head of Works who has strategic and operational responsibility for the upkeep, compliance, safety and long-term development of the College’s physical estate (excluding the gardens and grounds), including the stewardship of the historic fabric, operation and maintenance of all buildings, drainage and hard landscaping, delivery of major capital projects and overall responsibility for Health and Safety and Fire Safety across the College.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the law, regulations and current industry best practice across estates management, compliance and construction with relevant professional qualifications and experience in project managing major construction or refurbishment projects, including the management of external consultants.
