The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking an experienced Trial Project Manager to lead the University of Oxford’s operational delivery of EMBOLD-HEART, a Phase 2(a) randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-centre industry-sponsored CTIMP in cardiovascular disease within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM), University of Oxford. CVM is renowned for excellence in translational and clinical cardiovascular research, delivering innovative studies that improve patient care and outcomes worldwide.

As Project and Delivery Manager, you will provide senior operational leadership across the full lifecycle of Oxford’s contribution to the trial, with duties including leading and coordinating trial delivery, quality assurance, governance and sponsor reporting, ensuring that all study activity is conducted in compliance with the approved protocol, ICH-GCP, UK Clinical Trial Regulations, GDPR and University governance standards.

The role will particularly suit candidates with substantial recent experience and a proven track record in trial delivery as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in a commercial trials environment who are seeking a senior project management and delivery position in a leading UK academic trials setting.

This is a part-time appointment (22.5 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract to 31st May 2029. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate. The post holder will be based at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford OX3 9DU. We are seeking candidates who are ideally available to start as soon as possible to support the commencement of the clinical trial.
