Responsibilities and qualifications
We are seeking a new Assistant Professor. The main purpose of the position is to join our research in the field of circular material use at DTU Sustain. This will involve research in the recycling of scarce resources, both elemental resources and mineral resources, for use in the green transition and in construction materials, respectively. The research will be based on an interdisciplinary foundation and in collaboration with DTU Sustain’s research activities in general.
Your primary tasks will be to:
We expect you to have a background in materials science and to have conducted research on recycling in international settings. We expect that you are experienced in laboratory work, experimental setup design, and the application of statistical tools in the planning and analysis of experimental results.
A proven ability to attract funding is a requirement, and experience from participation in EU Horizon or other large international projects is beneficial.
We seek a colleague who is eager to disseminate research results and sees this as an integral part of everyday life.
You must be responsible for the teaching of courses. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.
As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).
