The role
School of Psychological Science are seeking to appoint a fixed-term academic on a 2-year contract. The successful candidate will join a growing team of academics, with a particular focus on delivering core undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supporting students through personal tutoring, and project supervision. Applicants with a teaching/research background in human developmental psychology research are particularly encouraged to apply.
Hybrid working is available: Our programmes are taught in person and on campus, you would be expected to be on campus for all student-facing activities. Typically, staff in the school are on campus a few days a week, but this varies substantially, we normally expect a minimum of one day on campus per week, but this would vary depending on teaching commitments.
What will you be doing?
You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and support of teaching across our programmes. The main purpose will be to provide the highest quality support for students and staff through teaching, tutorial support, administrative support, marking, and taking on special administrative projects to enhance our curriculum and student experience. The post This will involve teaching and administration on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specifically one developmental psychology topics, but additional teaching may be required on general psychological topics.
