About the role
This is an outstanding development opportunity for a talented individual who wishes to advance excellent and innovative research and education, relating to adult nursing with a particular focus on either pre-registration adult nursing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We are seeking applicants with experience and expertise in community practice related to healthcare and nursing who have a critical understanding of the issues related to care delivery. We are seeking a candidate capable of integrating community health and nursing experience into evidence-based nurse education. The applicant needs to have a strong record of collaborative practice and fostering partnerships with community-based organizations, primary care networks, and underserved populations. The applicant needs to be passionate about innovative teaching strategies that reflect the realities of home-based care and outreach services.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Head of Department, Adult Nursing and will work collaboratively with the programme, cohort and module leads and the faculty professional services teams
The role is a 1.0WTE and is offered on a 2-year fixed term contract. The faculty will also consider secondments into the role.
Location: Hybrid – minimum of 40% of time (ie 2 days/week for full time role) on campus (Main sites: Waterloo and Guy’s Campus)
