The AMRC Training Centre:
- The AMRC Training Centre opened in 2013 with the aim of providing practical and theoretical skills that manufacturing companies need to compete globally, through advanced, higher and degree apprenticeships and higher-level skills training. We deliver apprenticeships for over 200 companies, as well as supporting organisational needs through workforce development training. Programmes have been designed in partnership with academic staff and employers to ensure students can graduate and complete their apprenticeships equipped to meet the current and future needs of the advanced manufacturing sector.
- We have a Curriculum Operations team, led by the Curriculum Operations Lead, providing administrative support across the AMRC Training Centre’s taught programmes provision, from workshop training, academic programmes, through to end point assessment, from Level 2 all the way through to L6 undergraduate level. The team also provides Reception and a front of house service, and administrative support to the Executive Team.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
