Cambridge Reproduction is a vibrant Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) that brings together more than 300 researchers across the arts, humanities, social sciences, biomedical and physical sciences and technology. Our mission is to respond to compelling challenges and pressing problems in the reproductive arena by maintaining and enhancing the position of Cambridge as a leading global centre for cross-disciplinary research in reproduction. We now seek a Programme Manager to coordinate on-going initiatives and to help shape the next stage of our development.
As Programme Manager, you will work closely with the Co Chairs and Steering Committee to develop and implement a bold research and collaboration strategy for the IRC. You will build partnerships within and beyond the University, foster cross disciplinary collaborations, and help position Cambridge Reproduction as a leader in research, policy engagement and impact.
You will play a central role in supporting researchers to develop new projects; developing external relationships with funders, policymakers and partner organisations; and ensuring the effective governance, operations and long term sustainability of the IRC. You will oversee communications, events and networking programmes, as well as developing interdisciplinary training opportunities for early career researchers and coordinating Cambridge Reproduction's research theme framework.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders, thrives on strategic and creative thinking, is curious about reproduction in the widest sense, is passionate about making connections across disciplines, and who wants to shape a rapidly expanding interdisciplinary initiative with national and international reach.
Your experience may come from higher education, industry or civil society. What matters most is that you will also have:
