The Role & Team Structure

The University of London Careers Service (UoLCS) is recruiting a Careers Consultant to work  with students and graduates from The Courtauld, one of the premier Small Specialist Colleges supported by the UoLCS. As a Careers Consultant, you will support  students and graduates to develop their employability  essential skills, make informed career decisions, secure employment, and manage their careers..

The Courtauld careers teamconsists of two Careers Consultants delivering careers support to students. The other Careers Consultant also works three days per week. The team is part of the wider University of London Careers Service, sharing best practice and resources, across the other Small Specialist Colleges and Distance Flexible Learning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide careers and employability support through one-to-one appointments, workshops, and events..
  • Deliver in-person support tailored to students on specialised programmes at The Courtauld.Build relationships with academic staff, alumni, student representatives, and employers to support employability initiatives.Contribute to the development of online resources and digital learning materials..

Working Arrangements

The Courtauld expects staff to work on campus for their contracted hours, although occasional remote working may be agreed.Application & Interview Process
