UCC wishes to appoint academics to the role of Lecturer (Below the Bar) in Mathematical Sciences. Reporting to the Head of School of Mathematical Sciences (or their nominee), the appointees will play a pivotal role in the development of Mathematics in the School and across the University. The successful candidates will help develop the research profile of Mathematics, working collaboratively with colleagues. These are key academic roles with responsibility for leading or contributing to the School’s delivery of BSc and MSc programmes, driving growth in PhD enrolment, and embedding mathematical research across the Research Clusters within University College Cork’s Futures Research Initiative. The School has an established international partner and the successful candidate will be expected to foster this relationship through practical commitment to internationalization in teaching and research activities.
