Fordham University London is seeking to appoint an adjunct professor for a level three course in Operations for the Fall/Autumn 2026 semester - starting on 7 September 2026 and concluding on 18 December with a study break on 26-30 October.
This course introduces the field of operations management: to see the ways in which the decisions made by operations managers directly impact an organization’s competitiveness and to understand how the decisions made by other functional managers affect operations.
By the end of the course students will be expected to: Understand the major decisions and core concepts/theories of operations management; Demonstrate knowledge of basic analytical skills used by operations managers; Apply those skills to a range of operations management decisions; Communicate their knowledge of operations effectively to others.
Successful candidates must be experienced and effective teachers, able to cater for the diverse student body and engage students in the subject matter so that they are fully prepared for their journey through the bachelor degree. Teaching is in weekly three hour blocks. In Fall 2026, one section will be off ered and it will be taught on Wednesday afternoons (2-5pm).

Fordham University London delivers undergraduate study abroad programming for approximately 600 students each year from Fordham University’s School of Arts & Sciences and the Gabelli School of Business.

Salary
Starting salary £4,878.02 per section plus pension contribution if eligible (based upon 2025-2026 rates. 2026-2027 rates to be determined).
