The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health is one of the University’s largest and most complex faculties, delivering world‑leading teaching, research and clinical activity across laboratory, clinical, teaching and office environments, including NHS Trust sites.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced person to the post of School Compliance and Risk Manager in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health (FBMH). The position is a permanent full-time role within the Compliance and Risk Team. The postholder will provide professional leadership and operational oversight of health and safety, compliance and risk management within an assigned School. Working closely with School and Faculty leadership, the postholder will ensure statutory, regulatory and University requirements are met, risks are effectively managed, and a strong, proactive safety culture is embedded.
This is a key role supporting the safe delivery of teaching and research activity, strengthening governance and assurance, and enabling continuous improvement across diverse operational environments.
