Professor and School Education Director (Business School)

The role

Within the Business School, we are looking for our next School Education Director. This is a professorial appointment, reporting directly to the Dean.

Over the past eighteen months our outgoing School Education Director has led the redesign of our UG and MSc programmes around a knowing, doing, being ethos aligned to the future needs of business and society.

We have also launched new interdisciplinary programmes, transnational education at our new Mumbai Enterprise Campus, and 8 new online executive masters. We are now looking for someone to lead the next phase.

What will you be doing?

You should have a strong track record of pedagogical publishing, understand what AI means for how we teach and assess, and genuinely care about the student experience.

You should be passionate about the quality of teaching across every programme, in every classroom, online and in person.

You should apply if

This is a leadership role. We want someone who can hold both the big picture and the daily detail, match ambition for the school with care for our staff, and prioritise and delegate effectively rather than try to do everything themselves.

The role is a three-year term, renewable once, held alongside a permanent Chair (open to any business school discipline). It carries a substantial workload allocation, direct accountability to the Dean, and real authority over our educational portfolio.
