About the role:

We are looking for a Student Training, Communications and Campaigns Specialist to join our Student Support and Conduct team. Reporting to the Student Support and Conduct Manager, you will play a key role in delivering student training, awareness campaigns and engagement activity focused on harassment and sexual misconduct (HSM) and inclusion.

You will:

  • Contribute to a growing area of strategic importance, supporting the University’s work to embed a preventative, student-focused approach to a respectful campus environment.
  • Design and deliver engaging student campaigns and communications to promote respectful behaviours.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of student training, including consent, bystander intervention and HSM awareness.
  • Plan and deliver student engagement activity, including events and targeted interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of training and campaigns, using data and insight to inform improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with Faculties, the Students’ Union and external partners to maximise reach and impact.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

You should:

  • Have experience of delivering training, campaigns or engagement activity in a complex organisation.
  • Be confident creating engaging communications and working with diverse audiences.
  • Be able to use data and feedback to evaluate impact and improve delivery.
  • Have strong stakeholder and relationship building skills.
  • Be passionate about student experience, inclusion and creating a respectful culture change.
