We have an exciting opportunity for Clinical Teaching Fellows at our Glasgow Dental Hospital and School which is the major dental referral and teaching centre in the West of Scotland based in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. It benefits from comprehensive modern facilities for patient care, student training, and for education and research into dental and oral diseases and disorders. We provide staff with excellent opportunities to develop their clinical teaching skills.
You will deliver high-quality clinical and pre-clinical teaching and supervision for undergraduate dental students primarily in Restorative Dentistry but with flexibility to support teaching sessions in Oral Surgery or Paediatric Dentistry as required. You will contribute to student assessment, feedback, delivering clinical excellence within the Dental School’s teaching clinics and outreach facilities.

We welcome applications from candidates with full registration as a dentist with the UK General Dental Council and a relevant postgraduate qualification with significant clinical experience.
This post is open ended, ideally, we are looking to appoint 2-3 individuals working 1-3 days each week. Preference will be given to applicants who can commit to at least 2 days (i.e. 4 sessions per week, 3.5 hours each session).
