About the role

You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the Respiratory BRC histology laboratory within the Division of Respiratory Sciences, School of Medical Sciences. The role involves carrying out complex histological processes, including tissue processing, cutting and staining, while providing expert technical advice and hands‑on support to a wide range of research projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring that laboratory resources and specialist equipment are maintained to a high standard, arranging servicing and repairs, and managing consumables and purchasing requirements.
