Job Synopsis

The School of History and Geography at the University of Limerick (UL) invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor in European and/or Global History (pre-1800). This role offers significant scope to shape and expand your research trajectory, to contribute to the continued growth of our own research profile, and to play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in History, evidence of excellent research at an international level, and clear potential to secure external research funding. The ability to teach modules in early modern Europe and/or the Iberian Atlantic World will be an advantage.
