The University of Leeds (UoL) sponsors a wide range of academic lead clinical research falling under the UK Policy Framework For Health and Social Care. UoL sponsor governance systems span the life-cycle of a research project and you will execute the central governance processes associated with sponsor oversight throughout the duration of a research project. You will work within the Research Regulatory Compliance team and alongside Lead Investigators and key support departments across the University providing expert advice in Good Clinical Practice and Health Research Authority (HRA) process and standards. This role focuses on governance and compliance associated with the best practice standards and legal requirements associated with clinical research involving NHS sites, data and tissue. A key aspect of this role is supporting compliance withthe Human Tissue Act (HTA) and associated regulatory requirements.
You will regularly be required to meet new people and lead multi-disciplinary meetings with a training and development focus. This role is varied in terms of both project and system level work and an ability to work across multiple projects and track workload is essential. Attention to detail is essential.
