We are seeking a University Teacher in Environmental Science to support the School of Geography and Planning.
The role holder will provide teaching on our undergraduate Environmental Science and Physical Geography degrees, and our masters in Environmental Science and Data. You will be able to contribute to field work and our technical skills modules (such as environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, geospatial programming and analysis).
This role is an ideal opportunity for a scholar with excellent teaching ability to join one of the leading Geography and Planning Schools in the United Kingdom. You will be a creative and inspirational teacher, with teaching experience and a PhD in Environmental Science or related subject area (or be close to completion) (or equivalent experience).
You will contribute to the coordination and delivery of teaching for a diverse cohort of students, including the delivery of seminars, lab/computer classes, lectures and fieldwork, as well as marking and administrative duties within the School. Teaching will be required at Undergraduate and Masters levels, including dissertations.
You will join a dynamic team of Academic Staff in the School and will work collaboratively with Academic and Professional Service colleagues to deliver excellent teaching.
