Research Associates: Mathematical and Computational Modelling of Plant Disease We are seeking to appoint two Postdoctoral Research Associates to work on mathematical and computational modelling of plant disease spread and control, as part of major European research projects addressing plant health threats.
These posts will develop advanced modelling approaches to support surveillance, risk assessment and policy-relevant decision-making for disease management.
Two complementary positions are available:
Both posts involve spatial modelling, stochastic simulation and collaboration within a large European consortium.
We particularly welcome candidates with experience in, or strong interest in, process-based spatial epidemiological modelling, but this background is not necessarily required.
Candidates will be considered for both positions where appropriate.
Fixed-term until 31 August 2030. Start date: 1 September (with flexibility)
