Reporting to the Data Protection Manager in Governance, Assurance & Legal Services, you will provide support on data protection and in-house legal services matters and the effective maintenance of legal and regulatory compliance. The main focus of the role is to support the processing of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and to assist in delivering in-house legal advice to the University.

  • Experience of handling personal and confidential information
  • The ability to establish effective and efficient procedures that adhere to policies
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the legal requirements relevant to higher education
