Applications are invited for a Project Manager and NetDRIVE Grant Manager post at the Physics Department, University of Oxford.
The Network for sustainable Digital Research Infrastructure Vision and Expertise (NetDRIVE; uknetdrive.org) has been established, with a £4m grant from UKRI, to provide a forum for managers, software engineers, academics and others to come together to build a common vision for a sustainable future and to incite a transition to sustainable working practices in the Digital Research Infrastructure communities. This is one of over 350 live research grants held by the Department of Physics.
The NetDRIVE project manager and Grant Manager will be responsible for project management oversight of the NetDRIVE activities in Oxford and for overseeing a portfolio of community activities funded by NetDRIVE and involving partners in ten other Universities.
The postholder will work closely with members of the departmental Grants and HR Teams to ensure robust financial management, to support recruitment and to exchange information and best practice. Training is available in all these areas.
Applicants should hold a science degree, or equivalent experience and evidence. A strong intellectual, analytical and numerical skills and experience of financial management and/or project management in a research-intensive Higher Education Institution would be essential.
The post is full time and fixed term until 31 March 2028.
