About the role
The User Experience Designer will be involved with creating user journeys to key pieces of content and solutions on the KCL website, mapping out personas and creating sitemap and wireframe structures.
Key responsibilities include: Comprehensive view of why any Feature exists, the functionality required to implement it, and the benefits it delivers. Elicit immediate feedback to understand if the solution will meet the real business objectives defining and measuring value; Run user testing workshops with our key audiences including prospective students, current students, Academics, Researchers and Funders to test and validate user journeys; Ensuring the user is at the heart of everything the Digital Solutions team outputs; Drive forward user centric approach and help drive approach with all work undertaken from brief to delivery; UX review of all digital outputs from Digital Solutions team to ensure they adopt best UX practice; Train the Digital Solutions team on UX best practice and tools; Being involved in a collaborative cross-functional team; Work alongside marketing teams, advising on website design, layout and marketing materials; An understanding that you will be working not only on your own products but also taking on projects worked on collaboratively with others; Any other duties as reasonable requested.
This is a full time role and will be offered on a fixed term contract until 29/01/27
