This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months to cover a secondment
The Department of Management at LSE is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, efficient and hardworking individual to assist with the provision of front-line services to students and faculty. You will provide a high level of administrative and student events support to staff and students in the Department as well as working at the Department’s Reception desk. This is a key support role, with a varied range of duties, such as responding to applicant and student queries, helping to deliver student events, posting learning materials to our online platform, and supporting student submission and examinations. A ‘can do’, customer focussed attitude is a must.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised administrator to join a busy and friendly team.
You should have a high standard of numeracy and literacy, sound IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will have some previous experience of working in an office environment, ideally with experience of working on events and on a Reception or similar front-line service. Good communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as these roles will involve working with a variety of students, faculty and professional services staff. You will place emphasis on attention to detail and be able to organise and prioritise your own work.
