Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking an Administrator to support the activities of the Birkbeck-UCL Centre for Neuroimaging, a cross-institutional MRI centre established in 2006, located in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
Working across Birkbeck, UCL, and a wider partner community, you will take lead responsibility for centre organisation and administration, including finances and billing, projects setup and administration, training organisation, facilities oversight, and essential documentation.
A major part of the role is managing income from scanner hire and processing charges for all projects delivered through the Centre. This includes calculating charges and invoicing within Birkbeck and UCL, billing external customers, processing staff expense claims, and liaising with Finance to resolve queries.

The role requires flexibility, a proactive approach, and the ability to work closely with the core BUCNI team, Director, Finance colleagues, suppliers, and researchers - underpinning high-quality centre operations and safety.
Salary and benefits: Actual £17,414 rising to £19,491 (0.5) per annum, (pro rated £34,827 rising to £38,981 per annum, FTE) which is Grade 5 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.
