Job Description:
The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education is seeking an experienced Counsellor or Psychotherapist and an enthusiastic Senior Lecturer to join our team and contribute to the BA Counselling and Therapeutic Practice programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to a well-established and highly regarded, UG counselling training in Wales and beyond. You will join a clinically and academically experienced team, leading the development of this popular course, that widens access to and leads in contemporary pluralistic practice.
This dynamic role is pivotal in supporting the continued development of the course and contributing to the wider University’s Psychology and Therapeutic Interventions subject area.

The course is part of a range of psychotherapeutic programmes at the University, based on the well resourced Newport Campus, with access to bespoke teaching rooms and the USW Therapy Clinic.
This is a permanent, part time 0.6 FTE role. Applicants will need to commit to being available on core teaching days – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
