We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will make a positive and creative contribution to our architecture and interior architecture and design courses.
You will be expected to deliver lectures, seminars and studio teaching and to undertake assessment work and marking. You will have duties mainly aligned to our BArch Architecture and BA Interior Architecture and Design courses.
We have a thriving research culture in the Creative Industries Institute, and you will be given the opportunity to continue your existing areas of research or benefitting from support within the institute to begin or develop a research profile.
We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
The University currently enrols eligible academic staff into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS), a defined-benefit pension scheme.
Like many universities, we are facing well‑documented financial challenges and are entering a period of negotiation with our recognised Trade Unions, including consideration of pension affordability for modern universities. We remain committed to providing our staff with a competitive reward and benefit offer.
For this job we particularly welcome applications from ethnic minority applicants who are underrepresented in this area/this type of job at Sheffield Hallam.
The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international applicants in this role; this will depend on a number of factors specific to the individual applicant.
We welcome applications for job-share, part-time and flexible working arrangements.
To find out more, take a look at our guide to applying.
We recommend you download the job description and person specification when you apply, as this will not be available once the job has closed.
