From 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich & the University of Kent form London and South-East (LASE) University Group, a pioneering multi-university group that brings together the strengths of both institutions. As an employee of LASE, you will be closely connected to and work within one of our academic divisions, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity. Together, we are creating greater scale, resilience & shared ambition to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional & global impact.

The Faculty of Engineering & Science is one of four faculties at the University of Greenwich, split across 2 campuses – the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent, & the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London. Dedicated to inspirational learning, combining teaching with work placements and impactful research and is a complete hub for all STEM subjects within the University.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Student Experience Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and engaging student experience across the Faculty of Engineering and Science and across both campuses in Medway and Greenwich.

Reporting to the Student Experience Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of student-facing activity across both campuses. You will take ownership of student communications and digital content, ensuring information is clear, accessible and consistent, and coordinate key student surveys and feedback mechanisms (e.g. NSS, PTES, PRES), helping to drive improvements in engagement and satisfaction. The role also involves supporting committees, panels and formal processes, contributing to the effective operation of student experience governance within the Faculty.

As a senior member of the team, you will line manage a Student Experience Officer, providing day-to-day direction, support and development. You will also act as a visible and approachable point of contact for students, offering guidance & working with colleagues across academic and professional services teams to resolve issues and enhance the overall student journey.

You will use insight and feedback to support continuous improvement, deputise for the Student Experience Manager where required, and contribute to ensuring a consistent and high standard of service delivery across both campuses.

The successful candidate will be required to work across both the Greenwich and Medway campuses to support Faculty events. As a result, the postholder may choose to be based at either campus. Please note that staff based at the Medway Campus are not eligible to receive London Weighting.
