Join the University of Cambridge as Evaluation Lead for the Pathways to Inclusive Practice programme. Help shape a more inclusive Cambridge by leading the evaluation of a major programme designed to embed inclusive teaching practice across the University. You will work closely with the Head of the Inclusive Education Hub and will be a member of the Data and Digital Services Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead programme evaluation: Work with the Head of Inclusive Education to design and lead a strong evaluation framework for the Pathways programme, using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support pilot projects: Help departments evaluate their funded pilot schemes, ensuring they collect high-quality data and capture key lessons.
  • Track student success goals: Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of activities linked to the Access and Participation Plan (APP) and closing awarding gaps.
  • Embed evaluation from the start: Give expert advice to departments so that data-driven "what works" logic is built into new academic initiatives.
  • Report to stakeholders: Produce clear reports, insights, and recommendations for steering groups, senior leaders, and donors.
  • Build organisational capability: Work with central education teams to design frameworks and best-practice guides that improve evaluation skills across the institution.
  • Shape future policy: Research how to scale up inclusive practices, turning successful pilots into long-term institutional policy.

About you:

You'll bring strong analytical and communication skills, experience of delivering complex evaluations, and the ability to work collaboratively across matrix reporting lines. Experience of mixed-methods research, including exploring themes of inclusion and accessibility, is essential. A strong understanding of inclusive education, the UK higher education sector and the social model of disability is highly desirable, as is demonstrated experience of working with OfS requirements and TASO evidence standards.

You will work closely with colleagues across Education Services, the Inclusive Education Hub, and academic departments, contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking team focused on evidence-led change.
