The Department of Architecture invites applications for a Design Teaching Fellow. The post is fractional, 0.253FTE, working 9.36 hours per week, both in and out of term time. The post is a permanent position.
The purpose of the Design Teaching Fellow post is to teach architectural design on the four year professionally accredited Architecture and Design programmes.
The Design Teaching Fellow position is designed primarily for practitioners with experience in studio teaching, who are active in design research and up to date professional skills to deliver excellent teaching that benefits from and engages with Cambridge's research rich environment and is intellectually challenging.
With the successful launch of the Design Tripos, the Department is especially keen to recruit those who may have a background or expertise at the juncture of Architecture and Engineering, and a demonstrable knowledge of working inclusively with diverse communities of students.
