About the role:
Join Imperial College School of Medicine as a Faculty Admissions Officer, supporting the admissions journey of tomorrow’s doctors and scientists.
As a University, Imperial is ranked second in the world in QS World University Rankings, and our Imperial College School of Medicine has an international reputation for excellence, routinely ranked among the world's top five in the sector. Home to more than 2,000 students studying Medicine and Medical Bioscience programmes, the School harnesses that excellence to provide a unique, research-led student experience.
What you would be doing:
As the Admissions Administrator, you will support the Admissions Officer, Admissions Manager, Head of Education Development[AB1.1], and Academic Director of Admissions, working closely with colleagues across the Faculty Admissions team to deliver all aspects of the undergraduate BSc Medical Biosciences (BMB) and the new MSci Medical Science and Innovation (MSI) selection process at Faculty level.
While you will focus primarily on supporting the BMB and MSci programmes, you will also be expected to provide additional support to the MBBS as required, particularly during Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) and in the delivery of recruitment events.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of core recruitment and outreach activity, including undergraduate Medicine Open Days, Offer Holder Days, and other informative events. You will also help to review and improve processes, contributing to the ongoing development of admissions practices and the applicant experience.
