The Post
Stirling Law School wishes to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching and Research (T&R) Lecturer in Law. The School is keen to ensure that we continue to offer all the LLB subjects required by the Faculty of Advocates and the Law Society of Scotland to a high standard. Therefore, teaching experience across Scots law LLB subjects would be advantageous. The current teaching needs are predominantly in Scots commercial law and European law.
Expertise in some or all of the following subjects is desirable:
The main responsibilities are to teach and supervise undergraduate students and to undertake administrative duties as appropriate to the grade of appointment.
Initially, the successful applicants will be responsible for:
(a) Coordinating and delivering core and specialist modules in the LLB/BA (Hons) programmes
(b) Contributing to dissertation supervision and assessment in the LLB/BA (Hons) Law programmes
