About the role
The Post Holder will work collaboratively within the Pre-Award and Contracts Team to draft, review and negotiate contracts for research and enterprise activities.
You will advise academic and research staff on appropriate contractual arrangements with external stakeholders, whilst protecting the university from financial and reputational risk.
About you
With previous experience of research or of negotiating research contracts within a HE setting, you should be able to demonstrate highly developed capacity and aptitude for analysing, understanding and articulating complex contract terms and conditions in highly specialised areas. You will need excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and should feel confident building effective relationships with staff at all levels, utilising influence and persuasion skills effectively.
