The role
This is an exceptional opportunity to work in and shape economics education at a pioneering, research-intensive School of Economics with a strong commitment to world-leading, effective and student-centred pedagogy.
The post is on the education pathway (Pathway 3), which is well established within the School of Economics.
The post holder will be actively involved in research-led teaching in Economics, primarily at undergraduate level (but possibly also postgraduate level) within the School of Economics.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will contribute to small-group (class) teaching across a range of units (modules) within the School of Economics, plus associated preparation and marking (including summative-assessment examination marking). They work closely with Unit Directors, who have primary responsibility for the content and delivery of material.

A successful candidate will be a highly competent economist with the ability to use appropriate pedagogical methods to teach economics to the highest standard. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in and a passion for teaching in a higher education setting and the ability to contribute to the School of Economics. We also welcome applications on a part-time basis.
