The Role
We are looking to recruit a part-time Student Support Officer who will help manage student enquiries during weekday afternoons and evenings as part of the Student Services Team.
You will alongside a fellow Student Support Officer from 2.30pm-8pm on the Student Helpdesk within the Ravensbourne campus, as well as supporting other locations in our buildings.
You will be working Monday to Thursday each week and this is a 0.6 FTE role.
Please note, the hours for this role are fixed and Ravensbourne's flexible working hours policy does not apply to this role.
You will be the face of Student Services during evening teaching and respond to queries from students who visit the Helpdesk. You will also be expected to provide administrative support to the team.
We are looking for a professional, supportive and welcoming presence to help students studying in the evening feel connected to the support and processes at Ravensbourne University London.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a good telephone manner and written English skills. It is essential that you demonstrate your ability to support customer needs and communicate in an effective and clear manner. Experience of working in education and in customer facing roles is desirable.
