A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy and friendly team as an Internships Co-ordinator for a fixed term of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The postholder will be based within the School of Biological Sciences' Postgraduate Office and will manage two summer programmes: Amgen Scholars and Experience Postgraduate Life Sciences.
The postholder will line manage a part-time administrator and will oversee the advertising, recruitment and programme activities of both summer programmes, which culminates in a Cambridge-based European Symposium in early September.
We are seeking a pro-active and enthusiastic team player, who has excellent communication and strong organisation skills. A background in recruitment and or events management would be beneficial, but is not a requirement, and previous line management experience is desirable but not essential. Some weekend and early evening work is required during the summer months, for which time off in lieu would be given.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 1 years or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier. The position is available from 1 October 2026.
