Job description:
Are you an experienced radio frequency (RF) or millimetre wave (mmWave) researcher or designer who enjoys working collaboratively on next generation technology challenges? We have an exciting opportunity to join us as an RF Integrated Circuit Designer & Researcher for someone who is passionate about this technology.
We are seeking candidates with experience in RF circuit, RF chip, PCB design and RF simulation. A PhD is desirable (or equivalent relevant experience in engineering or physics) and equivalent industrial experience is welcomed.
Under expert supervision, you will help research and develop a new generation of integrated circuit (IC) concepts for mmWave antenna arrays, mixers, oscillators and amplifiers at high mmWave frequencies. This exciting and challenging role combines advanced RF Engineering research, IC design, prototyping and practical RF measurement skills. As part of the role, you will have access to the EPSRC mmWave Measurement Laboratory and associated RF test equipment and simulation tools.
