UCL Engineering’s Integrated Engineering Programme (IEP)
Our Integrated Engineering Programme is recognised within and outside of UCL for innovation and thought leadership in engineering education. The award-winning Integrated Engineering Programme (IEP) at UCL is a radical model for reimagining undergraduate engineering education. It integrates rigorous disciplinary foundations with applied mathematics, authentic and enquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and a strong emphasis on professional and transferable skills.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position, commencing on 1st December 2026.
The post-holder will sit within UCL Engineering’s Centre for Engineering Education and will work with colleagues across the faculty to support the continuous development and delivery of the Centre’s Engineering Foundation Year and Integrated Engineering Programme curricula. The Centre seeks to employ an education focused lecturer, ideally with both engineering and higher education teaching experience to lead and support the teaching within year 1 of the EFY and IEP. Industrial experience or experience of level 3 (A-level) teaching would be valuable.
