About the role:
The Fleming Initiative is delighted to invite applications for a Professor in Health Emergencies to join its interdisciplinary team in their work to protect global populations from the threat of antimicrobial resistance.
The Initiative, a partnership between Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS, is looking to translate innovation into practice through scientific, public engagement, behavioural change and policy measures providing real-world solutions to the global problem of AMR.
You must have an outstanding research portfolio in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), Infectious Diseases epidemiology, data science or informatics, as demonstrated though a track record of obtaining competitive peer-reviewed funding and publication in journal of international standing.
You are expected to have a proven ability to work with major public health agencies globally, developing collaborations to develop research and other tools and skills in leading, motivating, developing and managing the performance of colleagues. You should also have expertise in informing policy and communication with policymakers.
