UCA are looking to recruit a skilled individual with significant knowledge and experience of procurement activity in property, facilities, and IT, and the use of frameworks who can lead the Procurement function within the Finance Department.
The right candidate will lead the Procurement service delivery across the University ensuring continuity of supply, delivering value for money and ensuring the University meets its legislative requirements. You will lead negotiations and provide strategic direction for supplier contracts and service agreements that align to both cost saving and investment objectives.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise and build strong relationships across the University and with external stakeholders, whilst working closely with the Director of Finance as a member of the Finance Senior Management Team and leading a small Procurement Team.
