Head of Trials Support Office

The University of Glasgow’s College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Head of Trials Support Office to play a key role in the development of the University’s clinical strategy by contributing specialist regulatory knowledge, in conjunction with University Senior Management, to ensure a robust, collaborative and strategic framework for the conduct and management of innovative research to be maintained and developed.

In addition, you will input into strategies to enhance the conduct and management of Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products, Medical Device/Invitro Medical Device Trials, Human Data, and studies involving Human Tissue whilst leading the development and implementation of University wide research governance systems, including the management and development of clinical research support staff and staff from other relevant University, College and support services and the NHS as required.

Applications are welcome from individuals who hold a PhD or knowledge and experience in a subject relevant to the role as well as an established track record of providing and managing high-quality professional advice services in a clinically related research environment.
